Andrew Ferron is scheduled to go to trial Feb. 27 for allegedly shooting his brother and his sister's boyfriend during an argument about marijuana at a Pasco apartment.
He appeared before Judge Bruce Spanner on Wednesday in Franklin County Superior Court.
Bail has been set at $500,000 for Ferron, 26, who told the judge earlier that he is a general contractor at Fluor.
Pasco police were called Dec. 20 to an apartment at 3400 W. Wernett Road and found two men with minor wounds to the backs of their legs.
Nathanial Thompson, 22, and Tommy Ferron, 23, told police that Tommy Ferron's brother Andrew Ferron pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and fired at them, according to court documents.
Thompson's girlfriend, a sister of the Ferron brothers, told detectives that 2 ounces of medical marijuana that belonged to Thompson had been stolen and that she suspected Andrew Ferron.
Thompson reportedly called Andrew Ferron and said if he did steal the marijuana, he needed to return it. Andrew Ferron re-sponded by going to the Wernett Road apartment, according to documents.
Thompson was outside and fought with Andrew Ferron and a third Ferron brother, Mark Ferron, who was with Andrew Ferron, according to documents.
Thompson and Andrew Ferron fought their way into the apartment, where Tommy Ferron tried to break them up, according to documents. That's when Andrew Ferron pulled a gun and started shooting, according to documents.
Andrew Ferron told police he shot at Thompson in self defense, according to documents.
