January art walk this Saturday

Gig Harbor’s monthly First Saturday Art Walk will take place on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Seven downtown galleries and a new addition this month, the Harbor History Museum, will be open to exhibit work from featured and ongoing artist installations. The museum and select galleries will also offer artist demonstrations. Maps and information are available at the museum or at any of the downtown galleries.

January’s lineup of featured artists is as follows:

All artists are presenting a show entitled “New Creations for the New Year.”

Featured artist Sharon Carr presents her new series of abstract acrylic paintings, “Over the Edge.”

Featuring Rie Munoz watercolors, including several private collectors’ pieces. Her works will be featured the entire month of January.
