Nominations sought for YWCA Northwest Women's Hall of Fame

Nominations of women who have made outstanding contributions to the community are due to the YWCA Northwest Women's Hall of Fame by Friday, Feb. 1.

Nominees must be Whatcom County residents, living or deceased; made a lasting community contribution; served as role models or promoted opportunities for women and girls; and demonstrated perseverance and vision, the YWCA said. They should have overcome obstacles to fulfill their goals.

For a nomination form, go online to ywcabellingham.org or call the YWCA at 360-734-4820, Ext. 100.

Honorees will be celebrated at a dinner March 24 in Northwood Hall in Bellingham.
