Kennewick doctor to discuss healthy eating at presentations

Kennewick physician Dr. Matt Smith will offer two free presentations on healthy eating in Kennewick.

The theme of Smith's presentation is that eating healthy isn't difficult with the right tricks up your sleeve.

Smith has been practicing medicine in the Tri-Cities since 1980, and is co-chairman of the Benton Franklin Community Health Alliance's Food & Fitness Coalition.

He also teaches family medicine at Pacific Northwest University.

The first presentation is at noon today at Barnes & Noble in Columbia Center mall.

A second presentation is at noon Jan. 18 in Classroom No. 1 at the Benton Franklin Health District, 7102 W. Okanogan Place.
