A man who police say drove into his ex-wife’s Kent house and shot her in the hand before driving north and apparently shooting himself has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Dion Earnest Fisher, 48, died of suicide by firearm, the office said.

His body was found outside the truck that rammed into a woman’s Kent home Dec. 27. She told police her ex-husband crashed his truck into the residence before shooting at her, wounding her in the hand.

Three children, ages 10 to 18, were in the house at the time.

Deputies found Fisher’s body next to the truck later that day at the Lake Serene Trailhead, off U.S. 2 between Gold Bar and Index.
