Police arrested a man Friday they say robbed a Shelton bank that day, according to a news release.
Shelton police officers were called to an armed robbery at KeyBank, 410 W. Railroad Ave., around 5 p.m. Friday. A man walked into the bank and warned employees he was armed and demanded money, the release said.
The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.
Shelton police officers and Mason County sheriff’s deputies found the suspect inside his vehicle in a nearby parking lot. He is a 67-year-old Shelton man who has previous felony convictions. He was booked into the Mason County Jail.
