B y the numbers That’s the number of days the day-use area and first campground loop at Penrose Point State Park have been closed. The two areas reopened Wednesday. Work has been taking place since Sept. 10 as the park has gone through a sewer system upgrade. State Parks officials noted that the trail dump station and boat pump-out are expected to be closed through Feb. 8. The park is on the east side of Key Peninsula, at the head of Mayo Cove.
