Eight people were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting early Sunday in Lakewood, police said Monday.

The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. at a house in the 8400 block of 99th Street Court Southwest. Bullets struck the home and an unoccupied parked car. No one was injured.

A witness saw a Ford Taurus leave the home, and an officer found the vehicle in the Tillicum area. The occupants, who were among those arrested, initially fled into a nearby apartment complex as officers arrived.

Lt. Chris Lawler said the investigation was ongoing but that five weapons, some stolen, were recovered.
