The winners of the second annual Deck the Harbor window decorating contest people's choice awards were announced by the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association today. For the second year in a row, pet shop Sophie's Touch took home the top prize. The store will receive a certificate marking the honor.
Over 500 visitors to downtown businesses voted in the contest, in which participating downtown stores and restaurants decorated their windows for the holidays, over the month of December. The contest's panel of judges announced their winners in a variety of categories on Dec. 13. Sophie's Touch took the judges' award for Best Window Display.
