Professor Don Heinz will lead a presentation on “Les Miserables” at 9:40 a.m. Sunday at Agnus Dei Lutheran Church, 10511 Peacock Hill Ave.
Heinz will contrast the idea of “grace accepted,” by the character Jean Valjean, and the idea of “grace rejected,” by Inspector Javert.
A discussion on how the themes relate to the teachings of St. Paul, and how they are echoed in contemporary society, will follow.
