With the 2013 session of the state Legislature set to begin next week, the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Legislative Forum beginning with a meet and greet session at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Gig Harbor campus of Tacoma Community College.

It will be followed by legislators speaking about current issues and wrapping up with a question-and-answer session.

Legislators, including state Reps. Jan Angel, R-Port Orchard, and Larry Seaquist, D-Gig Harbor, will look for input from the business community in order to better understand its needs as they go into the session that starts Monday.

Those who attend will have an opportunity to discuss concerns and issues face-to-face with 26th District legislators, along with many other county and local government representatives.

The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are requested to accommodate food and beverage needs.

To inquire about tickets or for more information, call 253-851-6865 or email bprice@gigharborchamber.com.

The TCC-Gig Harbor campus is located at 3993 Hunt Street NW.
