D ec. 19 — A woman stopped by the Gig Harbor Police Department to file a mail theft report after she received a call from a Fife man who located a piece of mail she had sent out for the holidays. The single mail item was a gift certificate to an Italian restaurant for $50. It had not been used. The woman told police the restaurant disabled the gift card and would reissue a new one. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
