Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo is this weekend in Garden City

As much as you know fly fishing, there’s always more to learn. You can check out the latest gear, hone your fly-tying skills and deepen your knowledge of the art at the annual Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo. Learn to cast, how to change a line and more at clinics on both days. At this year’s programs, you’ll hear discussions on photography, line floating and all aspects of the sport from experts such as Idaho Statesman Outdoors editor Roger Philips. He will talk about advanced nymph fishing at noon Jan. 11.
