Learn about amphibians of the Northwest during a free day-long program at the LOTT WET Science Center on Jan. 19.
The Stream Team workshop will run from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Marc P. Hayes, herpetological ecologist, will discuss the ecology, life stages and identification of Northwest amphibians. A session on amphibian life history will be from 10 a.m.-noon, with an egg-mass identification class from 1-3 p.m.
Visitors also will be able to make a variety of amphibian-inspired art projects in the classroom any time during the day.
