B y the numbers That is the approximate number of sno-parks operated by the Winter Recreation Program through Washington state’s Parks and Recreation department. About 80 of the sno-parks are designated primarily for snowmobiling. They provide snowmobilers access to more than 3,000 miles of groomed trails across the state – about the distance from Tacoma to Myrtle Beach, S.C. A daily sno-park permit is $30 and an annual snowmobile sno-park permit is $40.
