A teenager was arrested Monday in connection with the robbery of a bank in the North End, Tacoma police said.

The boy walked into a KeyBank branch in the 3900 block of North 26th Street about 11:45 a.m. and demanded money. He implied that he had a weapon but never displayed one, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

After filling an Adidas shoebox with an undisclosed amount of money, the boy ran west on North 26th Street. Officers found him shortly after the robbery and booked him into Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center.
