Three people held a 31-year-old Tacoma woman at gunpoint and violently assaulted her Tuesday night, breaking her nose, when she demanded her ex-boyfriend return their children, police said.

Three people held a 31-year-old Tacoma woman at gunpoint and violently assaulted her Tuesday night, breaking her nose, when she demanded her ex-boyfriend return their children, police said.

The incident started about 1 p.m. Tuesday when the victim called her ex and asked him to pick their two children up from a relative’s house. He then called and said he intended to keep the girls and came to her house demanding their daughters’ belongings, police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.
