A 20-year-old man suspected of helping a teenager rob a Tacoma area bank Monday has been charged with first-degree robbery.
Derek James pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Tuesday. Bail was set at $250,000.
Pierce County prosecutors said the 15-year-old boy would be charged and arraigned today.
Police arrested James and the teen near North 18th Street and Union Avenue. An empty shoebox was found in the backseat. Money was found stuffed in the floorboard and stashed in the teen’s pants pockets and email@example.com
