Puyallup police on Thursday were asking for the public’s help in identifying a robber in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pants who held up a convenience store earlier this month.

The man entered the 7-Eleven store at 941 S. Meridian just before 2 a.m. Jan. 5, pulled out a knife and jumped on the counter, police said. He demanded money and told the cashier he “was serious and didn’t want to hurt anyone,” according to police.

The man then fled.

He was described as white, 20-25, with blond hair. He is about 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 7 and 145 pounds. In addition to the pants, he wore a gray, hooded sweatshirt and a blue mask.

Anyone with information was asked to call the police tip line at 253-770-3343.
