Riverside Fire & Rescue will hold a special meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, in its ongoing efforts to communicate with neighboring districts regarding its merger with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.
The meeting will be held at Riverside station headquarters, 4114 56th Ave. E. in Puyallup.
Riverside, known as Pierce County Fire Protection District No. 14, will conduct a station equipment inventory and discuss how it will notify the Puyallup Tribe of its service contract with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.
The Riverside board of commissioners also will discuss how they will grant access to their buildings and outbuildings, both to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and to Pierce County Sheriff's deputies.
No other business will take place at the special meeting.
