San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree has reportedly been questioned by police about allegations of sexual assault.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the alleged attack occurred at a hotel early Sunday morning after the team's win over Green Bay in the divisional playoffs.
The paper said police interviewed Crabtree with his lawyer present. He hasn't been arrested.
Crabtree flew with the 49ers to Atlanta for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
The 49ers said in a statement they were aware of the allegations.
"The 49ers take such matters very seriously," said general manager Trent Baalke in a statement. "We will have no further comment at this time as the legal process is ongoing."
Crabtree led the 49ers with 85 receptions for 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns during the regular season and last week had nine catches for 119 yards and two scores in the 45-31 victory over the Packers.
