The Bellingham Public Works Department said the public that the following roads will have traffic limitations during the week of the week of Jan. 21-25, 2013, to accommodate construction and repair.
Ellis Street at Plymouth Drive
Ellis Street at Plymouth Drive will be reduced to a single lane while Interwest Construction, under contract with the City of Bellingham, replaces the sewer main line. Sunnyland neighborhood
Inflow and Infiltration sewer project: Truck traffic will increase along the alley between Franklin and Grant streets from E. North to E. Illinois streets as ICI Construction, under contract with the City of Bellingham, continues a project to remove rain and ground water from the sewer system while replacing sewer mains and laterals. Harris and McKenzie avenues, 4th and 10th streets
Motorists can expect heavy truck traffic on Harris and McKenzie avenues as well as 4th and 10th streets in Fairhaven up to Interstate 5 as construction concrete work continues associated with the Post Point Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements project.
