The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering a free presentation on "Cancers Specific to Women."
The presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 29 at the center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.
The presentation will focus on gynecologic cancers.

The Tri-City Americans on Saturday will present a check for almost $23,000 to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation representing money raised at the hockey team's annual Pink Ice Night for breast cancer awareness.
Money was raised through the auction of a pink jersey during a game, sale of pink commemorative T-shirts, silent auction, "chuck a puck" event and tickets sold through the cancer center foundation.
The money stays in the community and is used to provide cancer programs and services to Tri-City patients and their families, a news release said.
The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering a free presentation on "Understanding Sarcoma."
The presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the center, 7250 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.
Dr. Iyad Hamarneh, a medical oncologist, will present.
Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering a free presentation on "Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction."
The class will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.
Kathleen Shannon will presented on how to deal with physical, emotional and psychological stress, as well as how to cope with chronic pain and illness.
Dr. Juno Choe, a board-certified radiation oncologist, will join the Tri-Cities Cancer Center in late May.
Choe formerly was with Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and its cancer center, North Star Lodge, according to a press release from the Tri-Cities Cancer Center.
Prior to that he was the director of radiation oncology for Capital Oncology in Auburn.
A free presentation on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Wellness Center at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center in Kennewick.
Kathleen Shannon will lead the session. Participants are asked to register by Wednesday.
