T he Ready for Kindergarten program provides parents with essential tools and activities that make learning easy and fun for young children. The Sumner School District is offering classes free to families residing within the district. Families are encouraged to sign up for the classes, and anyone new to the program must attend orientation from 6-6:30 p.m. Classes will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Scheduled classes are Jan. 31 at Liberty Ridge Elementary, 12202 209th Ave. Court E. in Bonney Lake, and Feb. 5 at Daffodil Valley Elementary, 1509 Valley Ave. in Sumner.
