Sea-Tac director to speak at WWU Jan. 24 on sustainability

BELLINGHAM - Mark Reis will discuss sustainability at Sea-Tac International Airport during a presentation in Bellingham on Thursday, Jan. 24.

Reis' "Hiding in Plain Sight: Mining Sustainability at Sea-Tac Airport" is part of Western Washington University's Huxley College of the Environment Speaker Series.

His talk starts at 4 p.m. in the Academic Instructional Center West building, room 204. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Reis is managing director of the airport, the 16th busiest passenger airport in the U.S. Reis, who earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Western, will talk about the operations of a major international airport and its sustainability improvements.
