Oregon State Police found methamphetamine worth an estimated $18,000 hidden in a car driven by a Pasco man, according to police reports.
The meth was seized after a traffic stop Wednesday morning, but police did not release information until Monday after investigating the incident.
Antonio Pantoja-Sanchez, 31, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala with California plates north when he was stopped on the south end of Highway 97 on the south end of Klamath Falls, according to police.
A police dog trained to detect drugs found 1.25 pounds of meth in the car, according to police.
Pantoja-Sanchez and a passenger in the car, Jorge Garcia-Mendoza, 26, were arrested on suspicion of delivery of meth. Garcia-Mendoza's hometown is unknown.
Both remained at the Klamath County jail Monday.
