C.J. Fair tipped in the go-ahead basket with 19.4 seconds remaining and the Orange fought back to defeat the Bearcats (16-4 overall, 4-3 Big East) in Syracuse, N.Y.

Trailing by seven points with just over 5 minutes to play, Syracuse (18-1, 6-0) tied it at 55 on Michael Carter-Williams’ 3-pointer with 80 seconds to go.

Fair’s tip came after Jerami Grant drove the lane and missed the shot.

Cincinnati’s Cashmere Wright missed a straight-on 3-point shot with 2.9 seconds remaining and the Orange had their 35th consecutive win at home, the longest active streak in NCAA Division I.
