A man died Tuesday after rolling his pickup truck in Auburn, police said.
Witnesses told police the man was driving erratically, speeding past several cars on a grassy area to the right of the lanes on C Street Southwest, before veering left across three lanes and into oncoming traffic.
The northbound truck hit two southbound cars and rolled, landing on its roof, Commander Mike Hirman said. One of the cars struck by the truck was pushed into another vehicle, making it a four-vehicle collision. One injury was reported.
The crash occurred at 10:45 a.m. on C Street Southwest near the state Route 18 off-ramp.
The man, who has not been identified, was pulled from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
