E.J. Singler scored 19 points and No. 16 Oregon rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to beat Washington State, 68-61, on Wednesday night in Eugene, Ore.
Singler scored 14 points in the second half for the Ducks (17-2 overall, 6-0 Pacific-12 Conference), who trailed 39-29 at halftime before pulling out their eighth straight victory.
Mike Ladd had 19 points, and Brock Motum scored 14 for the Cougars (10-9, 1-5).
Singler took over 5 minutes into the second half with the Ducks trailing 44-38. The senior forward scored 10 straight points, tying the game at 46 with the second of his consecutive 3-pointers. His free throws at the 11:45 mark gave the Ducks their first lead of the game, 48-46.
The Cougars regained the lead, 53-52, on a layup by Royce Woolridge with 7:38 to play, but Arsalan Kazemi answered with a dunk off a pass from Singler. Dominic Artis made a 3-pointer off another assist by Singler as the Ducks took a 57-53 lead and pulled away.
