A 49-year-old woman who crashed head-on into a vehicle in Bonney Lake in February was drunk with marijuana, opiates and Oxycodone in her system, Pierce County prosecutors say.
Depending on the account, the 22-year-old man was racing another vehicle or just trying to pass it.
At 1:47 p.m. on Monday, May 6 Puyallup Police and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue units responded to a vehicle versus building collision that caused significant damages to the Harborstone Credit Union at 3921 South Meridian and minjor injuries to four people.
UPDATE as of 3 p.m. Two adults and a toddler were in the vehicle, and were not injured, Central Pierce assistant chief Randy Stephens said. One employee was partially trapped, but was not seriously injured, Stephens said. The Credit Union employee is being taken to Good Samaritan Hospital as a precaution, he said. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
