Hanford High Jazz Band featured on public TV

Hanford High School Jazz Band's recent concert featuring guest artist Derico Watson is being featured on public access cable.

The concert will be on Richland channel 13 at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, 7 p.m. Mondays and 5 p.m. Tuesdays.

The concert will be on Kennewick channel 13 and Richland channel 99 at 2 p.m. on Sundays, 5 and 10 p.m. Mondays and 9 p.m. Thursdays.

The concert will run through Feb. 8.

    Country rock band Sawyer Brown returns to Clover Island Inn this summer for the Kennewick hotel's annual outdoor summer concert series, now in its ninth year.

    "We had a phenomenal turnout for Sawyer Brown at last summer's concert," said Mark Blotz, general manager of the hotel. "And I'm thrilled we were able to get them to come back this year."

    All the concerts will be held in the hotel's parking lot overlooking the Columbia River.
