The Pawlak family of Tacoma will compete Monday morning on the long-running game show “Family Feud.”

The show, hosted by Steve Harvey, will air at 9 a.m. on KSTW 11.

The five Pawlak brothers will try to keep up with the Johnsons, a family from Lexington, Ky., in front of a studio audience in Atlanta. (The show is taped.)

Both families are trying to win up to $100,000 and a new car.

The Pawlaks are Pat, an IT manager and youth sports coach, and his brothers – Adam, a police officer; Eric, a corrections officer; Nick, a student; and Scott, also a law officer.

“We decided to try out ‘Family Feud’ because it sounded like a fun thing to do, and my brother’s birthday was close to the tryout date so it would be a fun way to celebrate that,” Patrick Pawlak said. “If we win, we want to do something fun with the money and then pay some bills.”

The Pawlak family called the “Family Feud” hotline to begin the audition process.

Other contestant hopefuls can call the show at 323-762-8467 for an interview.
