D ylan Harper recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 294 in Tacoma. Harper is a senior at Charles Wright Academy and the student body president. His Eagle Scout project, endorsed by the Army Corps of Engineers, consisted of cleaning the Sequalitchew Creek that runs from DuPont through Fort Lewis. The creek was plagued with debris that had prevented salmon from spawning upstream.
