A fire at a Tacoma home Saturday evening caused an estimated $138,000 in damages, the Fire Department reported Monday.

Crews were called to the house in the 700 block of South 57th Street about 5:15 p.m. after neighbors spotted flames and called 911. The blaze spread from the porch onto the roof.

The fire has been deemed arson. Police, who were called to the fire because of a dispute between the owner and the tenants, are investigating.
