TUESday’s highlights

BOYS BASKETBALL

Ryan Sandoval’s late free throw gave Franklin Pierce a 60-59 victory over No. 4 Clover Park in the 2A South Puget Sound League. David Crisp had 23 points for the Warriors.

Bryce Bowers led Bethel with 17 points in a 54-42 victory over Emerald Ridge. The win helped the SPSL South Braves clinch a playoff berth.

Jason Young led all scorers with 27 points, and Kevin Locascio added 24 to help Decatur beat Enumclaw, 72-71, knocking the Hornets out of first in the SPSL 3A

Keith Green and Domenic Rockey scored 13 points each to lead Auburn Mountainview to a 49-48 victory over Peninsula, giving the Lions sole possession of first place in the SPSL 3A.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Calli Remitz led all scorers with 10 points, helping Enumclaw maintain its SPSL 3A lead with a 54-15 win over Decatur.

Rodericka Ware scored 30 points to push Lakes past Bonney Lake, 60-51, in the SPSL 3A.

Kennedy Hobert had 28 points and eight rebounds, helping White River to a 93-11 victory against Orting.

Kalani Ulufale scored 15 points for Rogers to help give the SPSL South Rams a 51-22 win over Graham-Kapowsin. blog.thenewstribune.com/preps
