The Boise Nordic Foundation is bringing the Banff Mountain Film Festival to the Egyptian Theatre, with more than 20 films from all over the world.
The films, which are being shown over three nights, are taken from approximately 350 entered in the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival and feature kayaking, skiing, rock climbing, other adventures and environmental films.
The nonprofit Nordic foundation is hosting the festival for the 18th year, and proceeds from the event will benefit Nordic skiing at Bogus Basin and the Treasure Valley.
Films start each night at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Egyptian Theatre box office, 700 W. Main St., and online at egyptiantheatre.net, or call 387-1273.
Tickets bought in advance are $17 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, and a three-day festival pass is $45.
Day-of tickets are $20, and ticket prices do not include ticketing fees.

• The Denali Experiment — Alpine climbing, skiing, snowboarding on Mount Denali.
• Ndizotheka — Paragliding from Mount Mulanje, Malawi’s highest peak.
• Gone Curling — The love of outdoor curling.
• Moonwalk — Rock climbing.

• Industrial Revolutions — Trials biking.
• First Afghan Ski Challenge — Gutsy first-time skiers learn to ski through trial by fire.
• Wild Bill’s Run — Snowmobiling from Minnesota to Moscow over the top of the world.
• On Thin Sea Ice 2 — Slide away with simple pleasures: skating, bathing and vodka.
• Last of the Great Unknown — The Grand Canyon is one of the last places in the American West to be explored.
• Flow Hunters — Some of the world’s best paddlers experience adventure and risk as they explore New Zealand’s whitewater.
• Reel Rock 7: Honnold 3.0 — Alex Honnold climbs in Yosemite.
