School employees returned to a Graham elementary school recently and noticed three parking signs were missing and nine windows shattered.
Video surveillance from the Jan. 4 incident shows four young men vandalizing Rocky Ridge Elementary School, 6514 260th St. E.
A school employee recognized one of the four as an 18-year-old Spanaway man, who was charged with second-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft, sheriff’s deputies reported. Brandon Grammer pleaded not guilty to both counts Tuesday and was jailed in lieu of $5,000.
Pierce County prosecutors said he could face additional charges in an unrelated vandalism case.
Grammer allegedly told investigators the names of the other three who helped break the windows and steal the signs, but sheriff’s deputies have not yet positively identified them.
Damage was estimated at $1,email@example.com
