Gail Everett, a city of Richland employee, will speak at the next meeting of the Columbia River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Everett will discuss conservation and recycling.
The meeting will begin at Feb. 7 at Tri-Tech Skills Center, 5929 W. Metaline Ave., Kennewick.
The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office will meet with citizens and discuss how to best serve the community at a series of quarterly meetings.
Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and last about an hour.
Touchet and Lowden citizens will meet Tuesday in the Touchet High School library, 90 Champion St.
High school juniors interested in the Reserve Officers Training Corps, or ROTC, are invited to an informational meeting.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Southridge High School library, 3520 Southridge Blvd., Kennewick.
The Tri-City Democrats' upcoming meeting will feature a presentation by Kevin Uretsky of KVEW/KAPP TV news.
The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at 2505 Duportail St., Richland.
The Richland School Board's regular meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board usually meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month but moved it to accommodate board member Rick Donahoe, who is taking classes at Washington State University Tri-Cities on Tuesday nights.
The possibility of permanently moving the meetings to Wednesdays is expected to be discussed at this week's meeting, according to staff.
The Richland Rod & Gun Club will hold its general meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kennewick Elks Lodge.
FoxPro field staff member Jerry Malbeck will speak about tactics for successful predator hunting.
