Country rock band Sawyer Brown returns to Clover Island Inn this summer for the Kennewick hotel's annual outdoor summer concert series, now in its ninth year.
"We had a phenomenal turnout for Sawyer Brown at last summer's concert," said Mark Blotz, general manager of the hotel. "And I'm thrilled we were able to get them to come back this year."
All the concerts will be held in the hotel's parking lot overlooking the Columbia River.
If the weather should turn foul for any of the events, they'll move inside to one of the hotel's ballrooms, Blotz said.
Here's how the lineup looks:
-- May 10: Kickoff party, featuring The Shades, for the Untapped Blues Festival. Showtime is 6 p.m. Cost is $15.
-- May 25: The Hotel California band, Tribute to The Eagles, from Montreal. Showtime is 5 p.m. Cost is $20.
-- May 26: Yesterday, a Beatles Tribute band, from Las Vegas. Showtime is 5 p.m. Cost is $20.
-- June 8: Corvettes on the Columbia car show with musical entertainment by Groove City. Showtime is 6 p.m. Cost is $15.
-- July 14: Sawyer Brown. Tri-City band Colorblind will open. Showtime is 6 p.m. Cost is $25.
All the concerts are for the 21 and older crowd only, but Clover Island is also bringing back Thunder on the Island nights on Wednesdays starting in June. This event is family friendly and there is no admission fee. Music features different bands every week.
There will be food and beverage gardens at all summer concert events.
Tickets for the concerts will go on sale in mid-April and can be purchased at the hotel.
