As a senior, as a citizen, I support the Puyallup School District bond measure.
Taxes are how we pay for civilization. Just as taxes assure there are adequate services available for me and my aging peers, we have the responsibility to see that our grandchildren and great-grandchildren are properly educated and given the same opportunities for success that we were.
It distresses me to see our school districts skimping along with marginal facilities. I have a responsibility to make sure that they are not just “making do,” but that they are able to provide a quality educational experience.
My grandkids, great-grandkids and my neighbor’s kids deserve it. I can’t afford any less.
