The Pierce County Cities and Towns Association elected Puyallup Mayor Rick Hansen as its president. Hansen will serve a one-year term.
PCCTA is a nonprofit organization comprised of cities, towns and military installations throughout the county. It meets to discuss items of common interest among members and related jurisdictions. PCCTA also assists the Association of Washington Cities in its programs and activities.
“This is a great opportunity to work with other cities to ensure that our small city voices are not ignored,” Hansen said.
