The Puyallup School District’s transportation department passed an unannounced inspection by the Washington State Patrol on 25 percent of the school bus fleet.

The state patrol found none of the 47 needed to be out of service.

Nineteen unsatisfactory findings were found, but they didn’t warrant shutting down any buses, department staff reported.

Mechanics have attended to all unsatisfactory findings. This summer, the 188-bus fleet will have a scheduled maintenance.
