Kent R. Hojem, chief executive officer of the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, was elected president of the Western Fairs Association at its annual conference late last month in Reno, Nev.
Hojem will hold the position for a one-year term.
WFA, a nonprofit trade association, serves the fair industry throughout the Western United States and Canada.
It supports education, training programs and legislative advocacy.
