J an. 25 — A man found and turned in a debit card he found in Gig Harbor. The cardholder’s father was contacted, and police hope the rightful owner will pick up the card, which was placed into the police department’s property room for safe keeping. The man to whom the card belongs has an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with stealing money from cards brought to a wedding reception she was attending - and trying to hide the loot in her bra.
A former secretary with the Shorelands Program at the state Department of Ecology was sentenced to 30 days of electronic home monitoring Wednesday after pleading guilty to second-degree theft for making unauthorized expenditures using state-issued procurement cards.
