J an. 26 — A 27-year-old woman was stopped in the 8500 block of state Route 16 for a traffic violation. Afterward, the woman was cited for failing to transfer the vehicle’s title within the allowed 45-day period. The woman told the officer her parents gave her the car, and that she hadn’t transferred the appropriate paperwork yet to show she was the legal owner. She was allowed to drive away from the stop, and she was given instructions on how to take care of the title transfer.
