Two people suffered minor injuries when their SUV was rear-ended by a semi-truck in Kennewick on Tuesday, the Washington State Patrol said.

William Wyman, 47, of Spokane, was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Highway 395 and West 27th Avenue at 3:06 p.m. when his 2007 Toyota Sequoia was hit by the truck driven by Daniel Atilano, 41, of Hermiston, troopers said.

Wyman was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Passenger Ginger Wyman, 45, of Spokane, was taken to Kennewick General Hospital, but the hospital said she wasn't admitted and had no information on her condition.

Atilano was cited for negligent driving, the state patrol said.
