Alyssia Brewer had 20 points and 12 rebounds Friday night, and No. 17 UCLA defeated Washington, 65-61, for its fifth win in a row.
Atonye Nyingifa added 15 points, and Thea Lemberger had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Bruins (18-4, 9-2 Pac-12), now alone in third place in the conference.
Lemberger made four free throws in the final 32 seconds to help seal the win. Jasmine Dixon scored 11 points and Markel Walker contributed 10 rebounds and seven assists.
UCLA had a 54-33 edge in rebounding in a game neither team led by more than six points.
Talia Walton led the Huskies (16-6, 8-3) with 18 points. Jazmine Davis scored 17, and Kristi Kingma had 11. Aminah Williams had 13 rebounds for UW, which saw a six-game winning streak end.
At Washington State 57, USC 54: The Cougars claimed their first four-game conference winning steak since 1994-95, using a second-half comeback to overtake the Trojans.
WSU (9-13, 5-6) shot 52 percent after halftime and outscored USC (8-14, 5-6), 34-26.
Freshman guard Dawnyelle Awa scored a career-high 11 points after hitting all three of WSU’s 3s and dished out five assists. Freshman guard Lia Galdeira added 10 points, eight coming in the second half, and grabbed a team-high six rebounds
At No. 4 Stanford 73, Arizona 43: Chiney Ogwumike had 18 points and 12 rebounds for her seventh straight double-double, leading the Cardinal (21-2, 10-1) past the Wildcats (11-11, 3-8).
Joslyn Tinkle added 15 points for Stanford, which won its seventh straight.
The Cardinal has held its last 41 opponents to an average of less than 70 points, an ongoing school record.
Arizona’s Davellyn White, the Pac-12’s active scoring leader, was held below 10 points for the first time this season, and the first time since last year’s matchup with Stanford, a span of 31 games. She has 1,932 career points.
At No. 6 California 66, Arizona State 53: Layshia Clarendon scored 18 points, Gennifer Brandon added 10 points and 15 rebounds, and the Golden Bears (20-2, 10-1) knocked off the Sun Devils (11-12, 3-8).
Cal’s Talia Caldwell added 14 points while Brittany Boyd had 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
At No. 21 Colorado 61, Oregon State 47: Chucky Jeffery had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Buffaloes (17-5, 6-5) over the Beavers (9-14, 3-9).
Jen Reese added 10 points for Colorado, which matched its total for Pac-12 wins from last season.
At Utah 67, Oregon 47: Michelle Plouffe led the Utes (12-10, 3-8) with 15 points, as they pulled away in the second half to beat the Ducks (3-20, 1-10).
