MEN
California 77, at No. 7 Arizona 69: Allen Crabbe scored 19 of his 31 points in the second half, Justin Cobbs hit a big shot in the closing seconds and the Bears held their composure down the stretch to defeat the Wildcats.
Cal (14-9, 6-5 Pac-12) held on behind Crabbe and Cobbs, who scored on a layup with 39 seconds remaining and had 21 points.
Arizona (20-3, 8-3) never fully recovered after struggling against the zone defense of the Bears to open the second half and ended a five-game winning streak.
Mark Lyons had 16 points, Solomon Hill added 13 and Brandon Ashley 12 for the Wildcats, the sixth top-10 team to lose this past week.
Colorado 72, at Oregon State 68: Spencer Dinwiddie scored 24 points, including six free throws in the final two minutes, as the Buffaloes held off the Beavers for the victory.
Josh Scott added 17 points and Andre Roberson seven points and 10 rebounds for Colorado (16-7, 6-5), which overcame a seven-point second-half deficit.
Roberto Nelson had 21 points and Ahmad Starks scored 20 points for Oregon State (12-12, 2-9).
Dinwiddie scored 17 of his 24 points in the second half for the Buffaloes, who got the win despite the Beavers’ 39-30 rebounding edge.
WOMEN
At No. 4 Stanford 69, Arizona State 45: Chiney Ogwumike had 26 points and 14 rebounds to lift the Cardinal to its eighth consecutive victory with a win over the Sun Devils.
Bonnie Samuelson scored a career-high 19 points and Joslyn Tinkle added 13 points and 11 rebounds for Stanford (22-2, 11-1 Pac-12), which has won 11 of 12 overall.
Samuelson reached double figures in points for the third time this season and second time in three games.
Haley Videckis scored 11 for Arizona State (11-13, 3-9), who have lost five straight for the first time since an eight-game skid from Jan. 18 to Feb. 6, 1997.
At No. 6 California 91, Arizona 86: Talia Caldwell scored a career-high 20 points and had 12 rebounds, Gennifer Brandon also had a double-double and the Bears defeated the Wildcats to extend their winning streak to nine games.
Layshia Clarendon added 20 points despite a hip pointer in the first half, and Afure Jemerigbe scored 11 for California (21-2, 11-1).
Davellyn Whyte had 26 points, seven rebounds and eight assists for Arizona (11-11, 3-8).
Brandon collected 22 points and 14 rebounds for her third consecutive double-double and seventh in the past eight games.
No. 17 UCLA 80, at Washington State 65: Jasmine Dixon, Alyssia Brewer and Mariah Williams scored 14 points apiece, and the Bruins snapped the Cougars’ four game winning streak.
Nirra Fields added 12 points and Atonye Nyingifa scored 10 for UCLA (19-4, 10-2), which broke away from a two-point halftime lead by shooting 85 percent (17-for-20) in the second half.
The Bruins finished the game at 64 percent (30-for-47).
Lia Galdeira led Washington State (9-14, 5-7) with 19 points.
Sage Romberg added 10 points for the Cougars.
No. 21 Colorado 84, at Oregon 59: Chucky Jeffery had 15 points and 15 rebounds to power the Buffaloes to the win over the Ducks.
Brittany Wilson scored 16 points for Colorado (18-5, 7-5), which has one more conference win than all of the previous season. Lexy Kresl added 12 points for the Buffaloes, all on 3-pointers.
Amanda Delgado led Oregon (3-21, 1-11) with 15 points and Danielle Love chipped in 14.
Washington 61, USC 58: The Huskies rallied from behind in the final minutes to defeat the Trojans despite going 4-for-25 on 3-pointers, something that has been their strength this season.
Jazmine Davis led all scorers with 24 points as Washington (17-6, 9-3) let its 10-point halftime lead slip away.
USC (8-15, 5-7) had the lead, 58-57, with three minutes remaining in the game until Davis hit a jumper to give the Huskies a one-point lead, 59-58.
Washington’s defense held the Trojans the rest of the way to move two games ahead of Colorado for fourth place in the Pac-12.
Utah 66, at Oregon State 40: The Utes won its second consecutive road game of the weekend with a win over the Beavers.
Iwalani Rodrigues led Utah (13-10, 4-8) with 18 points while Michelle Plouffe had her fourth double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
The Utes led by as many as 29 points in the second half, shooting 48.1 percent for the games.
Oregon State (9-15, 3-9) scored just nine points through the first 16 minutes of the second half.
