A 17-year-old boy accused of lewd acts against female employees at two downtown Tacoma businesses pleaded not guilty Monday to two counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.
He also is charged with one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer because he allegedly ran from two police officers while being questioned Friday.
As the officers gave chase, a passer-by tripped the teen. An officer then used a Taser to subdue the teen and take him into custody.
The boy, whom The News Tribune is not naming because of his age, remained in custody at Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center.
The teen is accused of distracting the employees and ejaculating on their backs before fleeing the store. The victims did not know what had happened until someone else pointed it out.
Both incidents took place at stores on Antique Row at the end of January.
He admitted to the acts after being arrested, according to charging papers.
