The Gig Harbor Quilt Festival is accepting donations to fund its mission to support breast cancer charities through community events that celebrate and share the art of quilting.
The money raised will help purchase supplies for comfort quilts.
During the past 10 years, the festival’s Comfort Quilt Program has donated more than 1,000 quilts for breast cancer patients through Dr. Frank Senecal’s offices in Gig Harbor and Tacoma. Donations can be sent to “Gig Harbor Quilt Festival,” 5114 Point Fosdick Drive NW, Suite E, PMB 17, Gig Harbor, WA 98335.
